Air Leak Audit
Your plant is almost certainly paying for compressed air it never uses. We find every leak with ultrasonic detection — during normal production — and hand you a priced, prioritized repair plan.
The Problem
Small holes. Serious money.
In a typical plant, 20–30% of generated compressed air is lost through leaks — couplings, worn hoses, old fittings, condensate drains stuck open.
- Leaks never rest. While the system is pressurized they flow 8,760 hours a year — including nights, weekends and holidays when nothing is produced.
- You can't hear them. Production noise masks the hiss. Ultrasonic detectors hear what ears can't — even from metres away.
- They multiply. Every vibration, every quick repair, every aging hose adds new leaks. Plants that never audit see the losses creep steadily upward.
- Loss grows with the square of hole size. A 3 mm hole loses ~9× more than 1 mm; 5 mm loses ~25× more. During the audit we price each leak with your actual electricity rate.
The Process
How the audit works
No shutdown. No disruption. We walk the plant while you keep producing.
Walk-through survey
Our engineer scans piping, connections, tools and machines with an ultrasonic leak detector — during normal production.
Tag every leak
Each leak gets a numbered tag at the exact location, photographed and logged — your technicians can find it again in seconds.
Quantify and price
We estimate the flow of each leak and convert it to baht per year using your electricity rate and operating hours.
Priority repair plan
You receive a ranked list: which leaks to fix first, what parts are needed, and the payback of each repair.
Verify the savings
After repairs, we can re-measure to confirm the reduction — and repeat the audit yearly to stop the losses creeping back.
Deliverables
What you walk away with
Complete leak register
Every leak numbered, located, photographed and sized — ready to hand to your maintenance team or to us.
Loss in baht per year
Total and per-leak cost calculated with your electricity rate and operating hours — numbers management can act on.
Prioritized repair plan
Fix the expensive leaks first — leak repair is often the fastest-payback energy measure in a plant.
